Lucía Elena Ventura is a Cuban-Mexican animator and visual development artist from San Diego, California. She received her BFA in Animation from California College of the Arts in 2019.

Lucía’s work explores identity and culture, story, and world-building through illustration and 2D animation. She’s particularly interested in projects that tell a story, experiment with hybrid software and media, or intersect different creative fields.
